Government cancels meeting with parents and teachers at last minute. Way to show your spine there, guys.
Of course people are pissed off with how you've been handling the Science and Maths in English switch. Never mind the politicising of the issue (what isn't politicised in Malaysia?), but even from a practical standpoint anyone can tell it's an utterly retarded way of handling it. One of my section head's sons has been studying Science and Maths in English throughout his whole student life.
But immediately after he hits Form Five, he'll have to adapt to doing things in Malay. Someone kindly explain to me how that isn't just stupid. And I don't think running away from a bunch of parents and underpaid teachers is helping, either.
It's a fucking miracle that this country hasn't imploded by now.
